I cannot log in!

If you used the mail-password feature already, and are still having trouble, this is definitely browser-related. The problem is solvable.

 

If you are having problems logging in:

 

  1. Make sure you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater. Check which version you have by clicking (H)elp->(A)bout on your browser.

  2. Check the time on your PC. On a rare occasion, a user finds their PC clock to be set wrong. This might force your login cookie to expire as soon as we create it. So, make sure the PC time is set correctly.

  3. Try changing the security setting on your browser. If you go to (T)ools -> (I)nternet options ->Security, you can change your security setting. Just lower it one notch so that you can accept cookies from our site.

  4. Try deleting your cookies. When troubleshooting any problems with your account, sometimes the problem might be that we need to refresh your "login cookie" on your computer. Most websites use cookies to store a login cookie on your computer. This is so that we know who you are during your visit.

  • In your Internet browser, go to (T)ools->(I)nternet options.

  • Click DELETE COOKIES.

  • Close all browsers.

  • Reboot.

 

Deleting cookies is safe. Your other programs an applications will not be affected, except you might have to log in again to some websites.
