We are pleased to unveil the new BidSlammer logo. The coolest sniping service ever now has the coolest logo! :-)

We are releasing our new site look this weekend. And we totally love it — the red and black are “the colors of sniping”, that is, sniping guns are black and targets are always red. We are getting rid of our current “soft blue,” because 1992 called — they wanted their web designer back! Blech.

Keep an eye out for the matching red & black website coming soon. We just wanted to formally establish our new mark — and whet your whistle for some more neat things coming down the line this month.

Welcome to BidSlammer Blog!

As our long-term users know, BidSlammer is a very special project to us. Since our launch in 2000, we have listened very carefully to our customers about auction sniping. Every customer comment has contributed to the website in some way or has helped us to add something unique to the service. Together we have created something really useful that makes buying on eBay a much better experience! Nine years have gone into BidSlammer, and we’re dedicated to making it better every day. Thank you for making us part of your eBay World.

More Cool Stuff is Coming

Speaking of your eBay experience, it’s about to get even better! A few keen eyes have noticed: Over the last 6-8 months we have re-written the entire bidding software. This gives us more stability for future enhancements. We will continue to add features to our service. Make sure to subscribe to the blog to get live updates! Some of the features we have coming include a Community Forum and the re-release of our award-winning auction scouting service. Also we will support more spoken languages.

Why a Blog? Why Now?

We want you to be as confident in your snipes as we are. And since none of the other “best” sniping services have a blog, we think it’s a great way for us to stay sharp … er, Sharpshooters, that is! By subscribing to our blog, you will stay current on all the latest information that affects bidding software. What better way to inform you of new situations than by providing a live RSS feed?

Also, we felt it was important to start making our customer services responses public. In 2000, there were only 3 ways you could miss an auction with a snipe. Today, we now correctly catch over 25 errors, most of which will be discussed in our first newsletter. Since eBay started masking userid’s in early 2008, snipe services have had a much tougher time determining the reasons for missed bids. We try to stay on top.

Enjoy, and feel free to contribute positive comments on future blogs, even if you are not a member of the service. We want your bidding experience to be as good as it can possibly be.
